For an emblematic wine that springs from the soil of the only Brazilian biome found exclusively in the south of the country, a name equally unique, symbolic, and reflective of the Pampa culture was chosen. The name recalls the Battle of Seival, in which one of the main figures was General João da Silva Tavares, an imperialist who led his troops riding a horse with the rare Sebrumo-colored coat. This battle marked the history of the Gaúchos in a war that lasted over ten years. It is precisely this strength that is embodied in the name Sebrumo.
